To apply the granules evenly and at the recommended rate, Gandy spreaders are equipped with a precision metering system. Hopper bottom and slide are die cut as mated pairs at the factory and never separated. Patented diamond-shaped openings are 1 1/2-inches long at maximum, centered 4-inches apart. A cam gauge acts directly upon the rate control slide, setting and locking the openings recommended size for your material, rate and application speed. Shur-feed rotors, especially designed to reduce shearing or grinding of materials, maintain a constant flow of material.

With Gandy 10T series spreaders, not only do you have a choice of model sizes 6, 8, 10 or 12-foot, but a choice in adaptations as well: Trailing models: 3-pt. hitch units with drive wheels at end: 3-pt. hitch with electric or hydraulic drive; and implement mounted with electric or hydraulic drive. Hydraulic shutoff is furnished with mounted units and is available for trailing and 3-pt. hitch models furnished with hand shutoff levers.
