The Gandy aerators, Model 4972 and Model 4996, are heavy duty professional aeration tools designed with dual-wheel coring heads
which independently follow the ground contour. Model 4972 operates at a 6-foot aerating width, while the Model 4996 covers an 8-foot span. Both
models mount on a tractor Category l, 3-pt. hitch. Interchangeable coring spoons or slicing knives allow operators to core or slice turf areas to
reduce thatch buildup and soil compaction. Add-on packages are available for the 6-foot Model 4972 to convert it to the 8-foot Model 4996. Optional
weight trays are available for either model. |

For smaller areas the Gandy Core Aerator-48 provides the versatility demanded for repeated use by rental centers and lawn service companies.
It is a pull-type or Category 0 or 1, 3-pt. hitch unit with a coring width of 48 inches and can be used with small or medium-sized tractors or utility
vehicles. The segmented spoon sections on a solid shaft offer a differential effect for smoother cornering. Depth of penetration is controlled by the
amount of weight added to the weight tray. The pull-type aerator includes hand lift wheel levers which snap into place for transport. |
Weight containers are available as an option. |
