A 2.3 cu. ft. capacity hopper with an adjustable slotted bottom designed to give uniform application across the hopper's width makes this ideal for use with bulky materials or materials that require extra agitation to flow readily. The metering system features a central fluted rotor with two additional agitators placed above it. At the bottom, the slots with their angled overlapping design provide even dispersion across the hopper approximate 12" width. Size of slot can be adjusted with an integral cam gauge.

The large 2.3 cu. ft. capacity permits greater volumes to be dispensed, the translucent qualities of the hopper letting the operator monitor the content level. Material flow stops when motor is switched off. The slotted bottom also can be closed manually. Strap latches keep the lid secure under field conditions.

This innovative system has been used successfully for metering bulky peat-based inoculants in field location and processing plants. Units with varied opening sizes have been created to accommodate the flow characteristics of talcum powder often used in seed treatments.

Hopper packages are available with 12-volt motor drive or, for stationary installations, 110-volt electric motor drive.
